Unsere Schule hatte die große Ehre, Teil des Erasmus+ Projekts „European
Games“ zu sein, das Schulen aus Deutschland, der Türkei, Kroatien und der
Slowakei miteinander verbunden hat. Dieses außergewöhnliche Projekt widmete
sich nicht nur der Förderung von Fairplay und sozialen Kompetenzen, sondern auch
der Stärkung interkulturellen Verständnisses durch traditionelle, kreative und digitale
Spiele.
Warum ist das Projekt wichtig für unsere Schule und die
Schüler:innen?
Das Projekt hat unsere Schüler auf vielfältige Weise bereichert:
- Förderung sozialer Werte: Spielerisch wurden wichtige Werte wie Respekt,
Toleranz und Teamarbeit vermittelt. - Interkultureller Austausch: Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern aus vier
Ländern konnten die Schüler andere Kulturen erleben und schätzen lernen. - Vielfältige Lernerfahrungen: Kreative und digitale Ansätze haben den
Unterricht bereichert und den Horizont unserer Schüler erweitert.
Unsere Lehrer:innen haben ebenfalls profitiert, indem sie neue Methoden und
Materialien kennenlernen und in den Unterricht integrieren konnten. Das Projekt war
eine Bereicherung für die gesamte Schulgemeinschaft.
Höhepunkt: Mobilität in Berlin – Sport, Kultur und europäische Werte
Ein besonderer Höhepunkt war die Mobilität in Berlin, die vom 3. bis 7. Juni 2024
stattfand. Neben spannenden Workshops und gemeinsamen Aktivitäten hatten die
internationalen Gäste die Möglichkeit, das Olympiastadion kurz vor der FußballEuropameisterschaft 2024 zu besuchen. Dieser Ort, der Sport, Fairness und
Zusammenhalt symbolisiert, passte gut zu den Zielen des Projekts und ließ die
Bedeutung von Fairplay und Respekt lebendig werden.

Ein weiterer kultureller Höhepunkt war der Auftritt der renommierten Tanzgruppe
„Krakowiacy“, die traditionelle Tänze präsentierte. Diese Darbietung spiegelte die
Vielfalt und das kulturelle Erbe Europas wider und erinnerte daran, wie wichtig es ist,
Traditionen zu bewahren und zu teilen – ein zentrales Anliegen unseres Projekts.

„European Games Book – COLLECTION“: Eine nachhaltige Ressource
Ein Ergebnis dieses Projekts ist das „European Games Book – COLLECTION“,
das eine Vielzahl von traditionellen, kreativen und digitalen Spielen aus allen
Partnerländern enthält. Diese Spiele fördern nicht nur den interkulturellen Austausch,
sondern können auch von Lehrkräften und Eltern genutzt werden, um Werte und
Zusammenarbeit auf spielerische Weise zu vermitteln. Das Spielebuch ist ein Symbol
für die erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit aller Partner und bleibt als nachhaltige
Ressource für zukünftige Generationen bestehen.

Ein Projekt, das Brücken baut
Das Erasmus+ Projekt „European Games“ hat bewiesen, wie Bildung, Kultur und
Sport miteinander verbunden werden können, um Schüler:innen und Lehrer:innen
auf eine Reise der interkulturellen Verständigung mitzunehmen. Es hat nicht nur
Fairplay gefördert, sondern auch Freundschaften über Grenzen hinweg ermöglicht
und die europäische Gemeinschaft gestärkt.

Erasmus+ Project „European Games“: An Intercultural Adventure
for Our School
Our school had the great honor of being part of the Erasmus+ project „European
Games“, which connected schools from Germany, Turkey, Croatia, and Slovakia.
This extraordinary project was not only dedicated to promoting Fair Play and social
skills but also to strengthening intercultural understanding through traditional,
creative, and digital games.

Why is the project important for our school and students?
The project enriched our students in many ways:
- Promoting social values: Important values such as respect, tolerance, and
teamwork were taught in a playful way. - Intercultural exchange: By collaborating with partners from four countries,
students experienced and learned to appreciate different cultures. - Diverse learning experiences: Creative and digital approaches enriched
lessons and broadened the horizons of our students.
Our teachers also benefited by learning new methods and materials and integrating
them into their lessons. The project was an enrichment for the entire school
community.
Highlight: Mobility in Berlin – Sports, Culture, and European Values
A particular highlight was the mobility in Berlin, which took place from June 3 to
June 7, 2024. In addition to exciting workshops and joint activities, the international
guests had the opportunity to visit the Olympic Stadium shortly before the UEFA
European Football Championship 2024. This venue, which symbolizes sports,
fairness, and unity, perfectly aligned with the goals of the project and brought the
significance of Fair Play and respect to life.

Another cultural highlight was the performance by the renowned dance group
„Krakowiacy“, which showcased traditional dances. This performance reflected the
diversity and cultural heritage of Europe and emphasized the importance of
preserving and sharing traditions – a central goal of our project.

„European Games Book – COLLECTION“: A Sustainable Resource
One outcome of this project is the „European Games Book – COLLECTION“,
which contains a variety of traditional, creative, and digital games from all partner
countries. These games not only promote intercultural exchange but can also be
used by teachers and parents to teach values and cooperation in a playful way. The
games book is a symbol of the successful collaboration of all partners and remains a
sustainable resource for future generations.

A Project That Builds Bridges
The Erasmus+ project „European Games“ has demonstrated how education,
culture, and sports can be connected to take students and teachers on a journey of
